Carrie James


Carrie James is a licensed insolvency practitioner, a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and is also a member of the IPA Council and Member Services Committee. She is committed to giving back to the industry by working with her authorising body. Over 20 years’ experience, having worked in both corporate and personal insolvency, for both large and small practices.

Peter Hall


Peter Hall has operated on the South Coast as an Insolvency Practitioner since 1984.  He has acted as supervisor of a successful voluntary arrangement for Bournemouth Football Club, and more recently has saved an engineering business in Basingstoke with 55 employees and been involved with Norman Court School where the education of some 200 pupils was in danger as well as that of 100 employees.  He looks after the interests of creditors whilst trying to minimise disruption to all those involved in the business.

Alistair Dickson

Head of Scotland

Alistair Dickson specialises in restructuring and insolvency of distressed trading and property companies. He undertakes assignments for both Company and Lender. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he undertook senior financial roles in industry. Following this, spent 12 years working for an international Bank, undertaking distressed lending and credit sanctioning Corporate and Leveraged transactions. Alistair returned to the accountancy profession in 2010 and has worked with Business Owners, Company Directors, Lenders across all classifications and Private Equity. Alistair has worked on assignments in Property, Food Production, Engineering, Retail, Logistics and Service Sectors.

Akash Thawani

Head of Offshore Insolvency Team

As an Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Akash Thawani leads our offshore Insolvency Team in India. Akash adds his comprehensive insolvency experience to the growth of organisation. He is dedicated towards performance drawn team management and works closely across the group to deliver training related to case administration and cashiering. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling and playing badminton and recently obtained an undergraduate degree in Law from Gujarat University, India.

Dhruvi Patel

Team Leader, Offshore English Insolvency team

Dhruvi Patel  as an Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and joined our Indian office based in Ahmedabad in October 2018. She is pragmatic and enjoys dealing with Members Voluntary Liquidation. Her responsibilities include managing corporate and personal cases, in addition to ensuring the smooth flow of information with clients and other stakeholders. Her collaborative approach with clients builds strong relationships and a deep understanding of client’s needs, with solutions delivered in a timely manner. Outside of work, Dhruvi enjoys writing.

Shailja Saklani

Team Leader, Offshore Scottish Insolvency team

Shailja Saklani is an Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and begun her career in Indian secretarial practices and Indian goods and services tax alongside her experience in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Shailja joined our Indian office based in Pune in September 2018 and is currently managing Scottish Corporate Insolvencies and assisting in sequestration procedures. She is focussed on developing efficiency and delivering work efficiency across the group and on behalf of clients. In her free time, Shailja enjoys dancing, travel, food and spending time with rescued animals.

Dhanashree Nagpure

Head of Cashiering

Dhanashree Nagpure earned an MBA in Finance in 2015 and joined the SKS Benedict Group Indian office in January 2019, adding her huge experience of more than 13 years in Accounting, Indian Taxation & Finance Sector in the growth of our organisation. She leads the cashiering and DAS cashiering team for the organisation. Outside of work she enjoys reading and travelling.
